Terms of service
Last updated: 2 August 2026
1. Business and contact information
FareLume is operated by [PLACEHOLDER — legal entity name], registered at [PLACEHOLDER — registered business address], company number [PLACEHOLDER — company number, if applicable]. These terms form the agreement between you and us when you use the service.
Contact: hello@farelume.com.
2. What the service is
FareLume is a flight price comparison tool. We display live flight options returned by a third-party flight data provider. We do not sell tickets, take bookings, hold reservations or act as your agent. Any purchase is a separate contract between you and the airline or travel provider.
3. Membership and pricing
FareLume Pro costs £4.99 billed weekly · 30 flight comparisons per subscription week · Cancel anytime online.
- Only successful comparisons count towards your weekly allowance.
- Failed searches and errors are not counted.
- Unused comparisons do not roll over to the next week.
- Flight search is available while your subscription is active or trialing.
4. Subscription renewal
Your membership renews automatically every week at £4.99 GBP until you cancel. Payment is taken by Stripe using the payment method you provided. If a payment fails, access to flight search may be suspended until payment succeeds.
We will give you notice before any change to the price or to what is included, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
5. How to cancel online
- Sign in and open your account page.
- Open the billing portal from that page.
- Choose to cancel the FareLume Pro subscription and confirm.
Cancelling stops all future payments. You keep access to flight search until the end of the week you have already paid for, and your account page will show the date access ends. No phone call or email is required to cancel.
6. Refunds
Statutory cancellation and refund rights that apply where you live are unaffected by these terms. Beyond those rights, our refund policy is: [PLACEHOLDER — refund policy, e.g. whether part-weeks are refundable and in what circumstances].
We cannot refund anything you paid to an airline or travel provider; those requests must go to the company you booked with.
7. Service limitations
- Prices and availability come from a third party and change constantly. A fare shown may no longer exist by the time you click through.
- Coverage is not complete; some airlines do not distribute fares to comparison partners.
- A booking link is shown only when the provider returns one. We do not guarantee that any particular result can be booked.
- The service may be unavailable during maintenance or if our data provider has an outage.
- We provide the service on a reasonable-efforts basis and do not warrant that any result is the lowest price available anywhere.
8. Acceptable use
You must not resell the service, share your account, scrape results, or use automated tools to run searches. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or abuse the search allowance.
9. Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses arising from fare changes, provider errors, missed flights or booking decisions you make using the service.
Governing law and courts: [PLACEHOLDER — governing law and jurisdiction].
